Printer Setup after Firefox Upgrades

With new Firefox upgrades, your specific printer set-up for each of your Koha Receipts and Koha Labels profiles is sometimes re-set to default values. You will need to manually return these values to the preferred settings for receipt and spine label printers.

The procedure for resetting your printer margins and header/footer values is as follows:

Receipts:

1. Open your Koha Receipts profile
2. Click File
3. Click Page Setup
4. Click the Margins & Header/Footer tab
5. Set all margins to 0
6. Select --blank-- for all of the six dropdowns in the Headers & Footers section
7. Click OK
8. Close Firefox
9. Reopen and test

Spine Labels:

1. Open your Koha Labels profile
2. Click File
3. Click Page Setup
4. Click the Margins & Header/Footer tab
5. Set all the margins to .1
6. Select --blank-- for all of the six dropdowns in the Headers & Footers section
7. Click OK
8. Close Firefox
9. Reopen and test

NEW - Mid-year Serials Clones records!

To mitigate some marked response time issues with certain popular weekly magazine titles, we have added mid-year clone records for the following:

• Entertainment weekly
• People
• Sports illustrated
• Time

We have set all of these to start with the July 2014 issues. We are currently adding your libraries' subscription records where appropriate, so do not be surprised by the title links with "0" listed under the subscription value.

When all of the subscription records are added for these titles, we will let you know so that you may go into your records and update them as appropriate. We are using very generic collection code, shelving location, and ITYPE values to expedite our processing, so you will need to change those default values if they are not the following:

• Collection code: MAGAZINES AD
• Shelving location: ADULT
• ITYPE: Magazine, adult
