• 12/17/13 The final batch delete of withdrawn items process for 2013 will take place on Monday, December 30th before libraries open. Please see the LINK 2.0 Koha blog post for more information.
• 12/4/13 21,102 withdrawn items and 2,704 bibliographic records with only withdrawn items attached were deleted in the monthly batch deletion of withdrawn items.

• 11/22/2013 Time to order item and patron barcode labels for 2014. An email was sent to the link-announce list today and the form has been updated. You can access the form from two places in the ILS Support website; the Forms tab and the Barcodes section of the Circulation page. Order deadline is December 20, 2013.
• 11/20/2013 Circulation Service Subcommittee requested that a reminder go out to all libraries to check all items for condition issues. Read the LINK 2.0 Koha blog post for details.

• 11/4/13 The 2013 Acquisitions year-end questionnaire is available. Libraries that used GetIt Acquisitions in 2013 should complete the questionnaire by December 6.
• 11/1/13 38,336 withdrawn items and 15,902 bibliographic records with only withdrawn items attached were deleted in the monthly batch deletion of withdrawn items.

• 10/23/13 The sandbox database will be unavailable beginning at 6:30pm tonight for an upgrade. Production is not affected by this upgrade.

Known Problems:Recently Added & Updated

• 12/16/13 Fixed. LINKcat Mobile App and Mobile website. Can only access first page of search results. When navigating to second page of search results, a blank screen is displayed. This problem has been reported to LibraryThing. (SCLS Support Ticket 46703)
• 10/22/2013 New. Intermittant problems with "Advance Notice of Item Due" (pre-overdue) notices. We have received reports that some pre-overdue notices were not generated and emailed on 10/13 and 10/15. Also, some pre-overdue notices were not generated on 10/1. This has been reported to LibLime and they are investigating the cause of the problem. Please continue to report examples with the patron barcode, item barcode and due date of the item. (SCLS Support ticket 46285)
• 10/1/2013 New. Publisher data in 264 tags does not appear in search results in Cataloging. RDA records which have publication data in the 264 field (not 260) do not display publication data in search results in Cataloging. Click on the hyperlink to view the record data in the 264. This has been reported to LibLime. (SCLS Support Ticket 46144)
• 9/26/2013 Fixed. LibraryThing Reviews do not work in Internet Explorer 10. When you click on the reviews link, you get a pop-up that says "No library specified." This problem has been reported to LibraryThing. (SCLS Support Ticket 46086)
• 9/24/2013 New. Intermittent Internal Server Error messages while receiving in Serials. Library staff are experiencing problems with Internal Server Error messages while receiving magazine issues in Periodicals. This has been reported to Liblime for resolution as of 9/17/2013. (SCLS Support Ticket 46011)
• 9/18/2013 Fixed. ISBN links to the catalog where the ISBN has leading zeroes are not working. This was re-tested and no problems were found. (8/11/11) (SCLS Support Ticket 40709)
• 9/18/2013 Fixed. This was a setup issue. Display problem on Advanced Search screen. There is a layout issue on the Advanced Search page that is interfering with the dropdown arrow for the "Location and availability" menu. The menu still works, but the arrow is missing. (9/5/13) (SCLS Support Ticket 45855 / 4.16)
• 9/13/2013 Resolved by workflow. Run the Hold Shelf Action List then check in the expired holds, before running the Holds Queue Report resolves this problem. Items not owned by your library are on the Holds Queue report. This occurs when the Current Library does not match the Home (owning) Library and the status is set to "Available." When items on the hold shelf expire, Koha is changing the status to "Available" but the Current Library is not changed. Koha then thinks the item is Available for holds. (4/25/11) (SCLS Support Ticket 40260)
• 9/12/2013 Resolved. Cataloging. Authority Control. Users that do not have bibliographic editing permissions may enter text into an authority-controlled field when creating a new BSE. With the authority control development in 4.16, Koha will automatically link the field to a matching authority record via a cron job that is run every four hours. Additional changes to authorized headings will be made as necessary when the BSE is overlaid by a full MARC record. This new development makes it unnecessary to search the authority file to link authorized headings when creating a BSE. Cataloging - When adding author names or series titles, do not click on the ellipsis (...) to search the authority records and add the authorized heading. This does not work. Just add the author name (lastname, firstname) or series title that is on the item. We will do any necessary cleanup to add birthdates, etc. at a later date. • 9/12/2013 Resolved. Cataloging - Invalid barcode message when moving item. Sometimes you get an invalid barcode message when you are trying to move an item, even though the barcode is a valid barcode. You can click the Override and Save button to continue moving the item. This has been reported to LibLime. (6/7/12) (SCLS Support Ticket 42441 / 4.12)
• 9/12/2013 Fixed. Cataloging - Truncated Barcodes: Searching by truncated item record no longer takes you directly to the specific item record. If you enter the full barcode, it will still retrieve the specific item record. This problem has been reported to LibLime (10/30/12) (SCLS Support Ticket 43378)
• 9/11/2013 New. Manual Invoice barcode field problem. When you are entering a Manual Invoice as a Note, and leave the barcode field blank, the system is populating the field with an OuterLoan barcode. This has been reported and should be fixed shortly. Put an "x" in the field to prevent the barcode from filling in. (SCLS Support ticket 45932)
• 9/9/2013 Resolved by workflow. Lost and Paid procedure:  Step 5 on the green SCLS ILS Lost & Paid form directs staff to "Remove lost item from patron's Lost Item tab."  This part of this procedure is no longer accurate.  Lost and Paid for items are not generating a refund if they are removed from the Lost Items tab.  Please have your staff refrain from removing the lost items from the Lost Items tab until this can fixed.  For now, you may have to explain why Lost items that patrons have paid for are still registering as Lost items on their records.
