Bibliovation 7.02.38-39 upgrade, Tuesday, January 30, 2024

We are pleased to announce that there will be an update to Bibliovation starting at 9pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. The upgrade does not require system downtime. This release, 7.02.38-39, includes fixes to Circulation. See the Release Notes for a full list of issues addressed in this upgrade. 

This upgrade includes fixes that have been tested by SCLS staff. To the best of everyone’s assessment, the fixes are working well and any bugs identified during testing have been fixed. However, as we learned with past upgrades and patches, we may experience unexpected results following the upgrade. We may also discover new problems. We will use the Known Problems page to document any post upgrade problems. After the upgrade, please clear your browser cache before using Bibliovation.

• 12/27/2023 2,798 bibliographic records were newly cataloged and/or updated in the database between 11/29/2023 and 12/26/2023.
• 12/19/2023 The minutes from the December 6, 2023, IC Meeting and the October/November 2023 ILS Report are available online.
• 12/18/2023 See the ILS Evaluation 2024-25 web page for information on the upcoming evaluation. If you wish to participate in a workgroup, please fill out this form by January 19, 2024.
• 12/15/2023 16,065 items and 1,798 bibliographic records (with only withdrawn items attached) were deleted in the monthly batch deletion of withdrawn items.
• 12/12/2023 The following Collection Code was deleted from Bibliovation: DBARN (DVD BLU-RAY AD RENTAL). See the minutes from the December ILS Committee meeting.
• 12/5/2023 The monthly LINKcat.info and LINKcat Mobile reports for November 2023 are posted.
• 12/4/2023  The monthly Bibliovation reports for November 2023 can be found online.
